Bariatric procedures are performed at Corewell Health Blodgett Hospital (part of Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals) and Corewell Health Zeeland Hospital. Since 2007, we have performed over 11,200 weight loss surgeries. We are a member of the Michigan Bariatric Surgery Collaborative, a voluntary collaborative of 40 hospitals that focuses on improving clinical care and outcomes. We also offer an evidence-based medically supervised weight loss program for adults who are looking for a safe and effective way to lose weight. 

Your patients can attend a free informational seminar to learn if bariatric surgery is right for them. We offer various times and days at multiple locations. An additional consultation with the surgeon immediately following the seminar can also be arranged.
